Blueprint for Regulatory Reforms to improve the business Environment in Tanzania
Team Leader of the project for implementation of the Business Environment, Growth and Innovation (BEGIN) programme. The overall objective of the BEGIN programme is to promote inclusive economic growth, employment and innovation, particularly among women and youth and enhance consumer protection. Component 1 of this programme, is a 10 million euro support to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the implementation of Tanzania’s Blueprint for Regulatory reform. This Component aims to improve the Tanzanian business environment, in line with Tanzania’s Blueprint for Regulatory reforms: improve regulatory procedures, avoid regulatory overlaps, promote transparency, and establish an effective monitoring and evaluation framework.
