National Quality Infrastructure Expert for the USAID Trade Facilitation Program in Vietnam

The international expert is responsible for the following tasks:

– Provide consultation and assessment to review, amend, and supplement the Law on Products and Goods Quality;
– Research and carry out assessment, survey, investigation of the current situation, effectiveness, and impact of NQI in Vietnam;
– Co-organize at least 4 consultative meetings with agencies of Directorate for Standards, Metrology
and Quality (STAMEQ) to collect necessary information, develop NQI, and share experiences;
– Identify and assess existing shortcomings between Vietnam’s policies and that of other countries and international best practices;
– Develop related presentations/communications material in readiness for project and General Department of Vietnam Customs use, including the experiences in developing NQI of other countries and recommendations for Vietnam.
